Dr. Daniel Grossman, MD, FACOG
Daniel Grossman, MD, FACOG, received his Bachelor's in Molecular Biophysics and Biochemistry from Yale University and an MD from Stanford University. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF), where he is now a clinical faculty professor in the UCSF Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences. Dr. Grossman performs clinical work at Zuckerberg San Francisco General Hospital and is the Vice Chair of Advocacy in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at UCSF, where he also serves as the director of Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health (ANSIRH). He is also a Senior Advisor with Ibis Reproductive Health. He focuses his research on both clinical and social science studies aimed at improving access to contraception and safe abortion in the United States, Latin America, and sub-Saharan Africa. He has served on committees for professional organizations such as the American Public Health Association and the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.
